We offer three different kind of wine experiences:

 

1. FRUITY WINE TASTING
Discover Tenuta San Lorenzo with this wine experience, strategically located in the rolling countryside just a few kilometers from Novi Ligure, Gavi, and Serravalle Scrivia.

 

Upon arrival, you will have the opportunity to dive into the ancient history of the place and the estate and, through a tour of the winery, be introduced to the winemaking techniques of the estate's white and sparkling wines.

 

During the wine tasting experience, you will discover 2 of Tenuta San Lorenzo's wines:

- Spumante Brut "Tenuta San Lorenzo", vinified with the Charmat method from Cortese grapes

- The winery's Gavi Docg, vinified from Cortese di Gavi grapes

 

You will have the opportunity to understand, thanks to the expert guidance of the producer, the different nuances of the Cortese grape grown in the estate's vineyards, and discover how this grape can decline in different forms while maintaining its characteristic aromas and flavors, with an explanation of the foods recommended to pair it with. Weather permitting, you will also be able to taste the wines on the terrace overlooking the estate's vineyards (upon request). To conclude the experience, you'll have the opportunity to purchase Tenuta San Lorenzo's wines directly at the winery, with the possibility of home delivery.

 

2. CLASSIC WINE TASTING
Upon arrival at the estate, you will have the opportunity to hear about the ancient history of the estate and its surroundings and, through a tour of the winery, be introduced to the winemaking techniques of the white and red wines produced on the estate.

 

During the wine tasting, you will discover 3 of Tenuta San Lorenzo's wines:

- Spumante Brut "Tenuta San Lorenzo," vinified with the Martinotti method from Cortese grapes

- The estate's Gavi Docg, vinified from Cortese di Gavi grapes

- A red wine of your choice between their Piedmont DOC Barbera and Monferrato DOC Dolcetto.

 

Thanks to this experience, you'll have the opportunity to understand, with the expert guidance of the producer, the different nuances of the Cortese grape grown in the estate vineyards, and discover how this variety can decline in different forms while maintaining its characteristic aromas and flavors. You will also understand how Barbera or Dolcetto are adapted to these lands, perceiving the differences from the same grapes grown in other areas of Piedmont. For each wine tasted you will be advised on the most suitable pairings with food.

 

If weather conditions permit, it will be possible to taste the wines on the terrace overlooking the estate's vineyards (upon request). It will be possible to purchase Tenuta San Lorenzo wines directly from the winery, with the possibility of home delivery.
